This scarf has been woven by hand on a eight shaft countermarch loom from my studio in Bristol.

Woven from a mix of wool from West Yorkshire and Rooster yarns. The speckled coloured wool is 100% Shetland wool. Shetland wool is an incredibly natural and sustainable fibre, and is world renowned for its fineness and warmth. Shetland sheep graze on the islands' hills and beaches eating wild heather and seaweed. This diet, along with the not-so-great weather, makes Shetland wool soft, strong and warm.

The undyed yarn is from Rooster yarns. This yarn uses 100% Bluefaced Leicester superwash wool from sheep in the British Isles. The Bluefaced Leicester sheep breed is well known for producing some of the finest British yarns – it’s wonderfully soft (26 micron) and has a characteristic lustre or silkiness, making it wonderful to work with.BFL superwash DK is made with 100% superwashed BFL wool.

Measures approximately 35cm wide X 215cm long, not including fringe.

The scarf has been pre-washed.

Gently cold wash and dry flat. Do not tumble dry, reshape whilst wet.

This is a handmade product, colours may vary compared to photos.
