This piece has been woven on my floor loom in Bristol using a Monk's belt pattern.
The background threads are woven with Manos del Uruguay yarn. Manos del Uruguay is a non-profit organisation that supports local women to make a living while remaining in their local village and raising their families. They are renowned for their fantastic colours, which have become their trademark and have been producing beautiful, natural fibre, hand-dyed yarns since 1968.
I also used recycled pure cotton for the detailing.
Oak hanger has been crafted in 6.5cm in height and 87cm in length with recessed keyhole fixings on back.
Dimensions are 87cm (W) 62 cm (H) approx.
Colour samples can be arranged. Approx. 8 week turnaround.
